Privacy Policy

MoilStack Tech LLP ("we", "us", "our") makes the TurnixDebt mobile app and this website (turnixdebt.in). This policy explains what information we collect, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. By using TurnixDebt you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, SMS, call logs or microphone recordings. We do not ask for your bank login, card number, PAN or Aadhaar.
Fingerprint / face lock: if you turn on App Lock, your phone's operating system checks your biometrics. We never receive or store them.
Website: turnixdebt.in does not use accounts or forms, and sets no advertising cookies. We only remember your light/dark theme choice in your browser. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, for security.
2. How we use your information
- To provide and improve the app's features, calculations and reminders
- To sign you in and keep your account secure
- To process purchases, referrals and rewards
- To respond to your support requests
- To meet legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your loan data for advertising.
3. Sponsored offers
The app shows clearly labelled Sponsored bank offers. Offers are chosen by your loan type and are not based on a profile of you built from outside sources. When you tap Apply you go to the bank's website, which has its own privacy policy. We do not share your loan details with the bank.
4. Who we share information with
We share data only with service providers who help us run TurnixDebt, under their own privacy and security terms:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, App Check) — sign-in, cloud storage and notifications
- Google Play — app distribution and purchases
- RevenueCat — purchase and plan management
- AI service provider — used only to read a loan document when you choose to scan one. Document contents are processed to return the result and are not used by us to train models.
- Cloudflare — hosting of this website
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety and security.
5. Where data is stored and for how long
Data on your phone stays there until you delete it or uninstall the app. Cloud data is stored on Google Cloud servers and kept while your account is active. When you delete your account we delete your cloud data (see section 7). Billing records may be kept for as long as tax law requires. Backups made using Export in the app are files you control.
Your information may be processed on servers outside India. We take reasonable steps to protect it wherever it is processed.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Cloud data is protected by access rules so that each user can reach only their own records, and the app uses Firebase App Check to block untrusted clients. No system is perfectly secure, so please also protect your phone with a screen lock.
7. Your choices and rights
- Access and export: view your data in the app and export a backup from Settings.
- Correct: edit loans, assets and your profile name in the app.
- Delete: use Delete account in Settings, or follow these instructions. We delete your cloud data within 30 days at most.
- Notifications: turn payment reminders off in Settings, or in your phone's system settings.
- Camera / photo access: only used when you choose to add a photo or scan a document, and can be turned off in your phone's settings.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may also request access, correction, erasure or grievance redressal. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Children
TurnixDebt is meant for adults (18 and over) managing their own loans. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app grows (for example when cloud sync or web access launches). We will change the "last updated" date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
